These terms cover your use of the axl.co.uk website and the axl Recover tool. The wider axl platform is still in pre-launch; more detailed service terms also apply when you subscribe to a paid plan. By using the site or the tool you accept these terms.

Who runs this site

The site is operated by AXL TECHNOLOGIES LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17394716), registered office 205 Lower Road, Hullbridge, Hockley, Essex, SS5 6AS. "We", "us" and "axl" mean that company.

Using axl Recover

axl Recover surfaces returns and orders on your B&Q Marketplace account that may be eligible to claim, and fills in each claim with the information needed to submit it. It is a tool to help you: you review each one, decide, and file it yourself through B&Q's own process. axl Recover does not submit claims on your behalf.

You must only ever submit genuine, truthful claims for items you are actually entitled to claim. You must not use axl Recover to raise or support false, inflated, duplicated or otherwise improper claims, and you are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit. You remain responsible for complying with B&Q's and Mirakl's own seller terms and claims process. We may suspend or withdraw access if the tool is used to pursue claims that are not genuine.

You connect your own marketplace account using your own credentials. axl Recover has read-only access, does not store your customers' personal data, and only processes the order-level details needed to surface potentially eligible orders and fill in claims, such as order numbers, items, prices and tracking status. You can disconnect it at any time.

Acceptable use

Please use the site and the tool lawfully. Don't attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to them, submit false details, or use them in any way that could harm axl or others.

Intellectual property

The axl name, logo, page content and design are owned by AXL TECHNOLOGIES LTD. Third-party names and logos shown (for example marketplaces and couriers we work with) belong to their respective owners and are used to describe compatibility only. In particular, axl and axl Recover are independent products of AXL TECHNOLOGIES LTD and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by or operated by B&Q or any member of its group; "B&Q" is used only to describe the marketplace our customers sell on. You may not copy or reuse our content without permission.

No warranties

The site and tool are provided "as is". We don't guarantee they will always be available or error-free, that any particular claim will be accepted or paid, or that the information shown is complete or final.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the tool, including the outcome of any claim you choose to submit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
